Demonstrating my worth as an art history graduate, one topical post at a time.
Having spent the last four years thinking and writing about art, it seemed right to finally get organised and have all the stuff I do in one place.
My name is Lily, and I’m a 22 year old St Andrews graduate. I don’t know where I’ll be living or what I’ll be doing when you read this. Hopefully somewhere. And something.
Here you’ll find my thoughts on exhibitions and sites I go to, general ramblings on a (usually predictable) theme and little insights into my work as an art historian (NB – this is dependent on the fate of a plethora of applications). I will also keep things ticking over with the odd Found Art post, in which I apply Danto and Dickie’s theories (that anything recognised as art, becomes art) to the trash, chance discoveries and detritus of daily life.
If you would like to give me a job please let me know as I really would like one, and will launch a volley of CVs and cover letters straight in your direction. Until then, keep scrolling and that.
